Why choose RV delivery?

Four big reasons guests opt for delivery over driving or towing themselves.

Skip driving or towing

Don't feel comfortable driving a large RV or lack towing equipment? Delivery lets you try any RV without any of that.

Easy setup

Backing up and setting up an RV at a campsite can be intimidating. With delivery, your host handles everything.

Save money

Getting a trailer delivered to a campsite is cost-effective — trailers are less expensive to rent than motorhomes.

Save time

Driving or towing an RV takes time. You can enjoy your vacation faster by having it delivered directly to you.

Delivery Locations

Process

How does RV delivery work with Rvnest?

Follow these five steps to book your perfect delivered RV experience.

1

Search for deliverable RVs

Use Rvnest's search to filter specifically for RVs that offer delivery in your area.

2

Add your destination

Enter the address or name of the location where you want your RV dropped off.

3

Refine your search

Add dates and filters to find the perfect RV. If you won't be moving it, towable RVs are the most cost-effective choice.

4

Place your booking request

Include important trip details so your host can provide the best possible delivery experience.

5

Confirm details with your host

Before your trip, confirm delivery and pickup times and any special requirements for your stay.

Pricing

How much does RV delivery cost?

Hosts set their own delivery prices. Here's what determines your fee.

Delivery Fee

Total cost for delivery

The delivery fee is the total cost charged to the guest, based on the one-way delivery distance from the host's location to yours.

Delivery Distance

The maximum distance a host is willing to deliver. Hosts set a per-mile/km rate plus a minimum fee to cover shorter trips.

Type of RV

Heavier RVs cost more due to fuel. Motorhomes cost more than trailers — they require a second vehicle for the host's return trip.

Time & Fuel

Hosts factor in the time and fuel needed to drive to and from the delivery location, including setup and takedown of the RV.

Important: Hosts are responsible for delivering their RV — not Rvnest. Before your travel dates, discuss any special requirements with your host: campsite rules, toll roads, bridges, ferries, park passes, and so on.
Vehicle Types

What types of RVs can be delivered?

Hosts can deliver any motorhome or trailer. Most guests prefer trailers — they're simpler and more cost-effective to deliver.

Protection

How does insurance work with RV delivery?

Rvnest's insurance covers both hosts and guests throughout the full rental period.

$1,000

Deductible for both host and guest under the stationary protection plan for all claims processed through Rvnest's insurance

Stationary plan applied automatically when you choose RV delivery and don't move the RV during your rental.

24/7 roadside assistance included in all plans — battery support (chassis), locksmith services, and general help.

Guest selects and pays for their RV protection plan at the time of booking. Coverage levels vary.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about booking and receiving an RV delivery through Rvnest.

The approved driver(s) is the person or persons responsible for the RV during the rental period. All rentals must have an approved driver on file — whether the RV is delivered and remains stationary or is driven by the guest.
Guests must reserve or secure their own campsites and delivery locations. During check-in, most campgrounds require the occupying guest(s) to sign paperwork acknowledging the rules and regulations. Both host and guest are responsible for understanding a facility's delivery requirements, including entry fees, parking passes, and any delivery restrictions.
Guests and hosts agree on delivery times together. If you're staying at a campground, find out the check-in and checkout times first, then schedule your delivery window accordingly.
Guests and hosts determine delivery windows together. Keep in mind that campground rules may prohibit early arrivals or late departures. If your preferred delivery times don't align with the campground's schedule, consider reserving an extra day on either end for more flexibility.
It depends on the delivery location and available amenities. At full-hookup sites, hosts typically connect and disconnect utilities — making it easy for guests to manage the sewer valve during their stay. The host and guest should agree in advance on how and when tanks will be handled.
Yes. Hosts and guests complete departure and return inspections together as part of Rvnest's rental agreement. Allow enough time on both ends of the delivery window to complete these inspections.
All of Rvnest's protection plans include 24/7 roadside assistance. When you choose delivery and don't move the RV, Rvnest automatically applies the stationary protection plan to your booking. All plans cover battery assistance (chassis only, not house battery), locksmith services, and general roadside support.
